Screening and prevention
Finding cancer early is the best way to beat it. Screenings are especially important for anyone with an increased risk, but some tests are a good idea for most people at a certain age. Regular screenings, such as mammograms and colonoscopies, may even help you prevent cancer by finding and allowing your medical team to treat precancerous conditions before they develop further. Please talk to your primary care provider (PCP) about the screenings recommended for your medical history, family background, and age. If you don’t have a PCP, choose a new provider today.
Tests and results
Our diagnostic testing and radiology services include a wide range of tests, all used to learn different information about a medical problem. After your screening test, our specialists will review your results to look for signs of disease. They’ll talk with you honestly about what your test results mean, and they’ll answer any questions you have. Usually, a few different tests help give our specialists the information they need. If they find signs of cancer, they guide you toward the next steps in your care.
