Marni A. Silverstein, MD
Pediatrics
My goal is to partner with patients, their families, and their communities to help kids thrive. Whether at a well visit or addressing mental and physical health challenges, it’s important to me to listen to patients and their families. I do my best to thoughtfully explain what I think is going on, discuss treatment options. I fully engage with families for their input and questions.
I came to pediatrics through a love of science, and a love of kids and of taking care of people. I appreciate the opportunity to create relationships over time, and it is a privilege to support families as kids grow up. I am committed to long-term continuity. There are babies I cared for when I first came to Cheshire who have graduated high school, and I have former patients who are now parents in my practice. I value being there for patients and their families, both when they are doing well and when there are health concerns.
Patients and families have said they appreciate the time I spend with them, that I’m caring and thorough, and have a deep medical knowledge. For the best outcomes, it is critical to me that a family feels heard, and that they understand and feel confident in the plan we make together.
