Since the start of the pandemic, Cheshire Medical Center has taken every measure to ensure a safe and clean experience for everyone. We are safely seeing patients at all our locations in Keene, Winchester and Walpole.
Here are just some of the ways we’re protecting you and others:
We have reduced access at some entrances on our main campus to ensure every person entering is screened, including all our staff.
We screen everyone entering our facilities for COVID-19 symptoms and body temperature. We will ask you to sanitize your hands and give you a mask to wear at all times.
Patients with COVID-19 related symptoms are treated in separate areas to help prevent the spread of infection.
We’re thoroughly and continuously cleaning all of our areas.
We have altered our scheduling and intake processes, reducing the need for waiting areas so social distancing is easy.
We have rearranged many public spaces and waiting area so seating is at least 6 ft apart.
We’ve updated our visitor policy and have inpatient staff ready to help patients connect via video or phone.
The Art Nichols Café is available for take-out only to patients and visitors, helping us enable social distancing at meal times.
Masks and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
All our staff are fully trained on proper precautions, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). All of our medical staff are wearing the appropriate level of PPE at all times, and we have plenty to cover all our needs.
We also offer convenient virtual visits from the comfort of your own home. This helps you stay home and it helps us maintain social distancing throughout our facilities.
If you have additional questions about your upcoming appointment or procedure, please contact your provider's office.
At Cheshire Medical Center and all of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, your health and safety remain our number one priority. And that is something that will never change.
