Ongoing stress has a negative effect on health, happiness, relationships, sleep, mood, and overall quality of life. Excessive stress also adversely affects executive functions, including attention, memory, judgment, and decision-making. Resilience is the ability to adapt well to stress and to even thrive amidst adversity. In this workshop series, you’ll learn why and how your brain and mind work so hard to keep you stressed. You’ll also learn simple everyday exercises to train your attention and interpretations to decrease stress and enhance resilience and well-being.
