Joshua F. Leduc, DNP, APRN
Family Medicine
Anything that is important to my patients is important to my care. That means not only addressing the issues they came in for, but also looking at their home lives, support systems, hobbies and lifestyles. I always view each patient as a whole. I hope they feel heard, validated and empowered in my care. I want them to know that they’re in charge.
My role is to provide all the information I can to help patients make the most informed decision for their care. My goal—and the reason I entered family medicine—is to give them the tools to live the way they want. Sometimes that means referring them to different specialties or simply supplying guidance on preventative healthcare. But no matter the course forward, if I can give my patients the information, resources and care needed to live a happy and healthy life, I’m content.
Getting to know my patients is the most rewarding part of my job. Being a part of this community and serving the people who make it special is a wonderful gift.
